Valisha Moody MA, MFTC

MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Hi, I’m Valisha — a Marriage and Family Therapist based in Colorado, passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families heal at the root.

I believe many of the struggles we face are connected to past experiences, emotional wounds, and patterns we’ve carried over time. My approach is warm, honest, and intentional, creating a space where clients can slow down, feel seen, and begin moving toward lasting healing and growth.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to support clients through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.

As a wife, mother of three, and therapist, I deeply value connection, grace, and authenticity. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, supporting my children at their activities, traveling, and creating spaces that promote healing and peace.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you no longer feel like you have to carry everything alone.
